President Obama is correct in not trying too hard to “fix” what is going on in Iraq and Syria.

(SAN FRANCISCO)  The unintended consequence of the U.S. Iraq war, the so-called Arab Spring, and the Syrian conflict is the collapse of the post-World War I partition of the Ottoman empire by the British and the French. Perhaps, we are now seeing the inevitable Balkanization of the middle east and maybe that is not such a bad thing.

Let’s look back.

Imagine a father having to claim his dead young daughter at two hospitals because her battered body was torn apart and ended up in two separate hospitals.

(JAMESTOWN, RI) Every single major terrorist attack against the US was followed by either a note or tape explaining why they attacked the US. The all have one thing in common. All of them say they attacked the US because of its blind support of Israeli policies and cruelty towards Palestinians, a fact largely kept secret from the US public.

The latest illegal attack on Gaza by Israel, in which civilians are being slaughtered by the Israel defense force, is once again being supported by US political leaders. The US Senate passed a unanimous resolution supporting Israel’s killing of over 600, people most of whom are children and women which merely adds fuel for terrorists and endangers American lives. Congress however, is much more responsive to Israel’s bidding than it is to the American public.

The U.S. dollar is purchased as a strategic tool to keep global inflation down in our interconnected world. However, a scenario of devastating impact on the dollar can unfold which has made currency traders a bit questionable on the future of the dollar.

(LONDON)   The new BRICS Development Bank has set off bells in the western world and rumors are flying on the possible fall of the dollar as the major international currency. The Slaughter of the Innocents

pal-child-scope13When the Magi (the three wise men) had gone an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream. “Get up,” he said, “take the child and his mother and escape to Egypt. Stay there until I tell you, for Herod is going to search for the child to kill him.” So he got up, took the child and his mother during the night and left for Egypt….
16 When Herod realized that he had been outwitted by the Magi, he was furious, and he gave orders to kill all the boys in Bethlehem and its vicinity who were two years old and under, in accordance with the time he had learned from the Magi.
17 Then what was said through the prophet Jeremiah was fulfilled:
18 “A voice is heard in Ramah, weeping and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children and refusing to be comforted, because they are no more.”

(LONDON)  That was then, when the infant Jesus could find a safe haven and sanctuary in Egypt. Which is more that can be said for the children of Gaza today looking to find a safe haven in present day Egypt under the dictatorship of Abdul Fattah Al-Sisi.
