Prostitutes take over Congress

A classic example of the ineffectiveness of Congress is now ongoing and can be seen in the Gaza situation.

It is little wonder the US public has little or no respect for the US Congress. Recent polls indicate Congress has a 10-11% approval rating which obviously means almost 90% of the American people hold Congress in contempt. One major reason for this is because Americans know full well Congress only responds to money and campaign contributions, and their need for money and votes far outweighs the interest of most Americans. Another recent study indicated that special interest groups, big donors, and large corporations are well represented, but the average citizen is totally unrepresented.

A classic example of the ineffectiveness of Congress is now ongoing and can be seen in the Gaza situation. The most powerful special interest group in the nation is AIPAC which promotes the Israeli agenda in the US, and the entire Senate just voted to support Israel’s illegal offensive and slaughter in the territory of Gaza, which Israel illegally occupies. That’s right the entire US Senate, every single one of the 100 voted to endorse and support wholesale murder of innocents by the fifth most powerful war machine on earth. Israel has illegally attacked hospitals, ambulances, 46 schools, UN refugee safe shelters, and today reached an all-time low, hitting a Hospital playground killing at least 10 children, while killing so far 1,150, most of whom are civilians and children, while there were only 3 Israeli civilian deaths due to the crude homemade rockets launched by Gazans. Media calls is a “war” but any objective person would call it a “slaughter”.

While the rest of the world is in an uproar, we in this country get a jaded view of what is happening in Gaza because mainstream media has lost all credibility on reporting this slaughter. First, Israel does not allow journalists to get into Gaza and second, mainstream media is not interested in “truth” as evidenced by recent firings of reporters who attempted to be fair by reporting the facts from Gaza. These reporters were summarily fired or removed from covering the slaughter. We are not told that there is an uproar around the world against the Israeli slaughter, and that one million people protested in the streets of the world this past weekend, as well as politicians with guts. Unfortunately politicians with guts have become extinct in this country so the entire US Congress has uttered not a peep of protest to the Israeli slaughter.

Now pause and ponder what would mainstream media and the US Congress be saying or doing, if the dead count was reversed and 3 Palestinians and 1,150 Israeli’s were dead? What would mainstream media be saying if a Palestinian rocket hit an Israeli hospital playground? It is clear media views Palestinian lives as nowhere near important as Israeli lives, a belief that has flowed from the apartheid like policies in Israel towards Palestinians. We heard much about the three Israeli teens who were kidnapped and later found dead, but we heard little about the young Palestinian teen who was kidnapped in revenge, and then suffered a horrible death after having been made to drink gasoline, then set on fire. There was also a media blackout in this country on the two Palestinian teens who were murdered by snipers, with both murders having been caught on video. On separate occasions video cameras caught young boys just walking down a street and being assassinated at long range by an Israeli sniper. One shot in the head and the second shot in the back. No coverage of these murders in the US, but the rest of the world was informed and outraged.

The rest of the world has a far broader and therefore more intelligent view of the tragedy in Gaza, because their media is unbiased, which has produced the rage of both citizens and politicians, while here we have the entire Senate quietly voting to condone and support a slaughter for fear of angering AIPAC. Israel deserves first place for the undisputed “Rogue Nation of the earth award”, for its repeated brutal attacks of defenseless people in Gaza. Every major terrorist attack in this country has been followed by an explanation of why we were attacked. The underlying reason always given is because of our blind support of all Israel does, even mass murder of women and children. To placate AIPAC and get their vote, your Senator just risked your life yet again, while completely discounting the lives of 1,150. The prostitutes in the US Congress have sold themselves and their sense of morality, to gain votes at your expense. Why would you vote for them?
