Comment on allied strike on Syria

Trump, Assad & Putin (tennesseestar.com)

The allied attack on Syria dramatically illustrates Trump’s schizophrenic approach to the Syrian conflict.

(SAN FRANCISCO)  On April 12, 2018, the U.S., Britain, and France launched a strike against Syrian research, storage, and military targets to punish Syrian president Bashar al-Assad for his suspected use of his air power to drop chemical weapons in an attack in the Damascus suburb of Guouta, where between 40 and 70 people were reported to have been killed by banned chlorine and sarin gases.  The key word here is “suspected.”  Assad and Russia have vigorously denied the allegations.

Insys Therapeutics and Purdue Pharma “war criminals” responsible for opioid deaths and addictions!

President Trump calls for extermination of drug dealers responsible for causing deaths.  Should he include the pharmaceutical executives who knowingly marketed their dangerous opioids criminally which resulted in tens of thousands of deaths?

Last night, NBC Nightly News televised a segment on Insys Therapeutics and their criminal marketing of Subsys (Fentanyl) which has resulted in a landmark outcome — the arrest of CEO’s of the disgraced pharmaceutical company.  Here is a link to the NBC Nightly News broadcast https://www.nbcnews.com/nightly-news/video/drug-company-bribed-doctors-to-prescribe-opioid-federal-indictment-says-1189045827628

Rudy Giuliani succeeded in keeping Purdue Pharma out of prison resulting in thousands of deaths!

Purdue Pharma, maker of OxyContin, pleaded guilty in federal court in 2007 to criminal charges that they misled regulators, doctors and patients about the drug’s risk of addiction and its potential to be abused.  The disgraced privately held Purdue Pharma, owned by the billionaire Sackler family, brought in “big guns” to negotiate the monetary settlement and hired Rudy Giuliani to avoid prison time.  Judge James Jones presiding over the sentencing imposed community service hours at a drug rehabilitation center to the three CEO’s of Purdue Pharma.  They were Michael Friedman, President, Howard Udell, Chief Counsel (now deceased) and Paul Goldenheim, MD.  With Giuliani’s shrewd legal skills utilized, Purdue Pharma continued to make billions of dollars while their created prescription opioid epidemic raged out of control.

This past week U.S. Senator Orrin Hatch (Utah) announced his retirement from the Senate at 83 years old.

(MYRTLE BEACH) Before Mr. Hatch attends his retirement party as Chairman of the U.S. Senate Finance Committee, maybe some vital matters should be addressed.  Hatch was a member of the U.S. Senate Finance Committee in 2012 when an investigation into the prescription opioid epidemic was launched naming several pharmaceutical companies as well as The American Pain Foundation, The American Academy of Pain Medicine and The American Pain Society, as well as several physicians.  Two of the physicians named in the investigation were Perry Fine, MD and Lynn Webster, MD both from Utah.  I am calling for Hatch to be charged with obstruction of justice and named as a defendant in the many lawsuits filed throughout the country against pharmaceutical companies such as Purdue Pharma, maker of OxyContin.  My call for Orrin Hatch to be brought into legal action is based on the following information as regards the investigation into the prescription opioid epidemic addicting and killing in the tens of thousands:

Following the trail of the prescription opioid epidemic and the DEA’s efforts to expose the purveyors.

(MYRTLE BEACH) In 2013, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) launched an investigation of then-president-elect of the American Academy of Pain Medicine (AAPM) Lynn R. Webster, MD, related to overdose deaths at Webster’s Lifetree Pain Clinic in Salt Lake City. It was alleged there were up to 100 deaths at Webster’s clinic which was raided by the DEA.  Webster attributed the deaths to “suicide” and the pain clinic closed its doors.  The U.S. Attorney for the District of Utah declined to pursue charges, effectively ending the DEA investigation.  US Senator Orrin Hatch (Utah) was rumored to be the force behind charges being dropped against Webster.
