(SAN FRANCISCO) Another mass killing in the U.S. This time in San Bernardino — 14 dead, 21 wounded.  We say ho-hum as gun violence has now become an expected event in our every day lives.  Consider that since 2006, there have been more than 200 mass killings in the U.S.  Americans have seemingly come to accept gun violence as long as it doesn’t directly effect them or their love ones personally.

Will Oregon mass killings be a tipping point?
Probably Not

(SAN FRANCISCO)  On October 1, 2015, ten people were killed and another seven injured after Christopher Harper-Mercer, a 26-year-old gunman, opened fire in a classroom at Umpqua Community College in southern Oregon.  Harper-Mercer then took his own life.  President Obama vowed to continue pushing new gun policies that he said would prevent further mass shootings.  Will this mass killings be a tipping point resulting in passage of reasonable federal gun control legislation?  Probably not.

Global News Centre

(FERGUSON)  A second Black man was killed by police near Ferguson, Missouri, where an ongoing protest packed with questionable police commands, treatment of protestors and media, rages on over the Ferguson Police deadly shooting of 18-year old Michael Brown.

(FERGUSON)  Those of us watching a Livestream feed from protestors Wednesday night saw the most disturbing video clip, of a rogue police officer with an assault weapon thrashing around and threatening to kill peaceful, non violent demonstrators.

The officer pointed his rifle at Rebelutionary_Z’s companion, identified as Josiah (an African-American), and said “I will f*cking kill you, get back.”

So making guns illegal will take them off the street?

There is an old saying that if guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns. If you don’t believe it, just look at Chicago.

Bob Collinsworth Global News Centre

(HARRISVILLE, N.H.)  Here’s the real problem: There are dozens of things that we have made illegal yet they continue to be available on the street. Do some research on Operation Fast and Furious. Our own President and Attorney General have assisted in putting guns in the hands of the Mexican drug cartels. Some of those guns were used to kill U.S. Border Patrol agents that had families. These politicians have no clue what they are doing. They want absolute control over the populace and as long as the constitution stands, they are breaking the law. Politicians have gotten out of control over the last 40 or 50 years. They need to be reined-in before it is too late or we will end-up with designees of the Bilderberg Group running our country rather than those we elect.
